According to reports, the former G-Unit MC is looking at an 18-months in prison for gun possession.

The Tennessee rap star has agreed to a plea deal withNashville prosecutors that will land him behind bars for a year and half, TMZ reported on Tuesday (May 22). A judge signed off on the plea, but Buck won’t be sentenced formally until July 13.

“I got to go to the penitentiary for two months. Fuck with me for real, hold me down,” he said. “And when I get out of the penitentiary, all you rap niggas better get the fuck out the way. I ain’t even gonna say no names, but it’s a good thing I’m about to go to the penitentiary.”

Kanye West and Jay-Z are nominated as Best Group and Best Collaboration. Kanye overall takes home 7 nominations. Best Hip Hop Artist nominees include Drake, J.Cole, Rick Ross and others. ASAP Rocky is nominated for best new artist.

French Montana is currently promoting his debut album Excuse My French, set for release on July 17^th. During an interview with Karen Civil, the South Bronx, New York native spoke on working with Travis Barker and The Weeknd on his project, explaining that it’s going to be something “real special.”

“Shout out to Travis Barker, I’m working with him. I’m working with The Weeknd, shout out to Kanye, shout out to the whole MMG, shout out to Bad Boy, shout out to the Coke Boys, shout out to Harry Fraud. Shout out to everybody who helped me on this album. I feel like it’s going to be something real special.” He also explained how Diddy and Rick Ross will help shape his album, stating that it’s his vision but that the duo will polish certain aspects of the project.

“Puff Diddy Combs, Rick Ross, they both putting it together for me. The whole input is going to be mines, but they’re going to sharpen up the edges for me.”
