Prodigy of Mobb Deep’s been a pinnacle focus in hip-hop since his release from from prison earlier this year, having done interviews throughout various media outlets and releasing a fresh product with Complex titled The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson EP. Now that the music issue has been settled, it being revealed that Prod and Havoc are back working on a new Mobb Deep album, Complex decided it would be fitting to hit up the hip-hop weathered veteran to speak a little bit about the running Illuminati rumors that have been spreading throughout the genre.

The main names being mentioned as of late are Kanye, Diddy, and the Jay-Z/Beyonce duo, as their levels of status and income seem to imply that they are members of some sort of hip-hop sect of the clandestine “man behind the curtain” conspiratorial organization (Kanye repping the Illuminati emblem doesn’t help either).

I’ve been a big conspiracy theorist myself for quite awhile, studying up on the Illuminati and such, and if I were to delve into something so asinine as a hip-hop artist being part of the maybe-real elite, I’d have to single it out to solely Jay-Z. It’s all bullsh*t though when it comes to that, and I’m not going to talk anymore on the business.

Complex recently caught up with Prodigy of Mobb Deep to discuss his upcoming autobiography and his release from prison. During the interview, the Queensbridge emcee discussed his current relationship with one-time foe Jay-Z. P discussed an incident when he ran into Jay-Z at club but chose not to confront him, saying the he felt that both he had never really considered his feud with the then-Roc-a-Fella star to be that personal.
