Toronto rapper wanted in 2007 shooting death of teen turns himself into police.

TORONTO - A Toronto rapper who denied shooting a 16-year-old boy in a YouTube video has turned himself into police.
Pierre Oliver Ellis turned himself in on Tuesday and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning on first-degree murder charges. The 24-year-old rapper known as “Capitol P” denied shooting 16-year-old Keyon Campbell in a rap song titled “Letter 2 Da Vern (RIP Ace),” which he uploaded to YouTube in 2009. Capitol P raps in the song that he treated Campbell “better than his brother” and says he would “never push his wig back.”
Campbell was shot to death on his front porch near Finch and Morningside Avenue in east-end Toronto on Dec. 2, 2007. Campbell’s mother found him suffering from severe trauma in the front hallway of his home after which he was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.’
