Snoop Dogg Rocking Out in downtown London, Ontario. Canada

Snoop in downtown London, Ontario.
U.S. hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg had 1,900 fans at the London Music Hall parking lot in his charismatic glow on a big nuit all over.
“What’s my name?” Dogg teased.
“Snoooooop Dogg,” answered hundreds of happy fans as the 50-minute concert was near its end.
Joined on-stage by hip-hopper Soopafly and DJ LT Dogg hit the stage about 11:45 p.m. Saturday. Fans who had been chanting with a for the headliner of a multi-act show — chanting with a will-he-show edge — were instantly putting their hands in the air as Dogg urged. Most of Dogg’s rhymes are about the pursuit of women and weed, so the audience had a chance to shout “Pimp” and “I want to … you” in response to Dogg’s sleepy-eyed come- ons.
Mid-set there was a serious tribute to slain rapper Tupac. “Put two fingers in the air (for Tupac), Dogg said during Two of America’s Most Wanted. “It was Tupac’s birthday two days ago.” It wasn’t all that serious. A set list with Gin and Juice, Pump Pump and Tha Shiznit is about the fun Snoop. Not so totally gangsta either was the on-stage monitor with song titles and lyrics. The star was by no means glued to it.
At the show was Snoop’s manager Kevin Barkey, a 2003 UWO grad, who said it was Snoop’s first London gig. Barkey and others were impressed to hear k.d. lang had played the Grand Theatre close to the Dogg house. A final note on fashion accessories: dancers from the Motley Crue school of movement twisted around Dogg as needed and he had a tight knit cap, a bejewelled mic grip, sponsor-type wear and classy sunglasses which were gone soon.
