(SN) Who is Chyllz Da Don where are you from what’s your style and what are you representing?

(CHYLLZ) Chyllz is an inspiring, unique individual that is not only an Artist, but a GENIUS as well. I’m from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Home Of Floyd Mayweather), with a very rare style that u can’t find in most, if not all rappers. I represent growth, intellegence, and the ability to think outside the box, or should I say triangle (Wink).

(SN) At what point did you start taking the Entertainment Industry serious. Are there anyone out of Michigan that influenced you or had a impact on you to go even harder?

(CHYLLZ) I’ve been producing, and making music since I was 15, but I didn’t take the Industry seriously until I had my daughter at 19. She is the only REAL influence that had a deep impact on the way I looked at life. It actually put me in the mind state of believing it was something better for me other than selling drugs. She made me stay  go harder than ever before!

(SN) Do you get a lot of support in your home city, shows, radio, explain the Winnipeg’s Hip Hop Scene?

(CHYLLZ) I have alot of fans online, but when it comes to my home city, no I love my city to death, but I live in a very hateful city. You stick out like a sore thumb if you have what we don’t (Cars, Jewelry, Drugs, Women etc.). So, there is alot of haters, stick up kids, u name it we got it (Hahaha). When it comes to music, we will support the Industry before we support the local. I will change that because I don’t like that at all.

(SN) You have a single right now on Swagg News Radio titled “ALL I NEED” that there goes hard, can you tell our readers and viewers about the song, how it came about and the person responsible for the production?

(CHYLLZ) Around the time of the making of the song, I was learning about a lot of things that the normal mind wouldn’t understand. So, you can say it was the transition from how I thought, to how I think. If you listen closely, you can hear the message of GENIUS MINDED GROUP. This is not just music, it’s also The Mastermind Plan to turn a Dummy into a Genius. Flawless Tracks is the producer, and putting my flow with his beats is priceless. (SN) Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist? Any deals in the works. What type of creative control do you have with the music you put out?

(CHYLLZ) I am actually the President of the Record Label GENIUS MINDED GROUP. I plan on getting my Label singed to a Major Label, then signing myself to GENIUS MINDED GROUP. I own all of my music, except for the beats.
(SN) What are the 3 must haves when in a Studio Session? What projects do you have in the works. Mitxtapes, Albums, Shows, Tours etc?

(CHYLLZ) I only have one need, gotta have my weed! My engineer is a must also. I don’t write my music. I just sit back, get high, and create a masterpiece all in my head. So, no need for a pen or pad ya dig. I just finished my next Mixtape titled, “GENIUS” that will drop early August. Now, I’m working on my Debut Album titled, ” GET IN, CASH OUT: THE ALBUM” By then the buzz from this Mixtape dropping June 16th will be CRAZY!
