M.trill is no new-comer in the Nigerian music industry. After causing a bit of rukus in 2008 when he won the Channel O awards for “Best African West” category based on votes from the continent. A category which was also known as the category of death because it featured the biggest west African acts at the time. This PH city lyricist went on to release a highly successful album ‘Number one’ (with the hit single “beautiful”) which hit the stores in October 2008.

He dropped a  mixtape “ladies and gentlemen” which had very good critical reviews in 2009 and hasn’t released anything official until late last year when he showed his great mic skills and an ability to bridge d gap with “microfone killa and kolobi” M.trill has worked/performed alongside international acts like Beenie Man, Akon, Junior Reid, Phoebe One, Pyrelli and other top Nigeria acts.
