(SN) Ten Yards is the name of the group the members are DROOPY & SLEEPY. When did you come together & whats your background your roots & part of the world are you representing.

10Yards was a old group with droopy and two other people they left and sleepy came and we been doing this for 5years strong. Our roots are Jamaican and we are representing Toronto.

(SN) Whats your style when did y’all realize that you wanted to take your music career to the next level.

Our style is straight realness always showing the truth. We wanted to take it to the next level when we started to get nuff support from the streets.

(SN) Who are some of the people that inspired both of you to pursue music career’s as hip hop artist’s.

To tell you the truth not much just Biggie and 2Pac.

(SN) Your new track / video “Get On The Floor” is a party track definitely a club banger. How did that come about and whose responsible for the production and the video.

We wrote the track by the way of the production of the beat vibe it was bringing the club vibe so we wrote towards the club, and Boi 1da produce it and Dukey Dukz came up with the video and shot it . 

(SN) Whats a studio session like with 10Yards, Explain your writing process, what are your must haves while in a session.

Being in a session with 10yards is fun that’s if you like hard work lol lol but for real we don’t like to much people in the studio if your not there to work don’t come or don’t call 10yards. Are writing process is pretty fast sometime we freestyle sometime we write. 

(SN) DROOPY & SLEEPY is Ten Yards signed to a label or are you a independent group.

So far we are independent still seaching for a good deal we got deal but not good enuff but until then just keep bring hard music for the people.

(SN) Summer 2011 is right around the corner what can your fans expect from Ten Yards as a group and as a Company

Expect a lot from 10yards this summer a lot of shows and traveling into the UK and America, And expect to see 10yards opening up for big artist.
